Vice President, Senior Operations Manager, Payments Operations, Global Banking — A key leadership role within a leading financial institution.

Job Overview

This senior-level position is responsible for overseeing daily operations and administration of the payment operations unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing cash operations functions, team leadership, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily operations and ensure timely adherence to service level agreements, regulations, and internal procedures.
  • Manage employee performance, providing coaching and guidance to achieve excellent results.
  • Implement strong internal control systems, monitor their effectiveness, and ensure business continuity planning.
  • Represent the organization in markets and regulators engagement, leading the delivery of regulatory initiatives on payment systems.
Qualifications / Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of direct working experience in leading cash operations functions.
  • Strong people management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of local and cross-border payments, regulatory reporting requirements, and project management.
  • Solid problem-solving skills, effective communication, and self-motivation.
