Job Overview

The Chief Information Security Officer will be responsible for defining and owning a multi-year cybersecurity roadmap, focused on reducing cyber risk.

They will build and lead a highly skilled Cybersecurity team, fostering a culture of trusted partnership and continuous improvement.

The CISO will create strategic goals, articulate plans, define metrics, and provide updates to leadership.

They will partner with executives for the development, planning, and execution of major security initiatives.

The CISO will support a Secure Software Development Lifecycle.

They will lead the SOC team and ISO 27001 Core team to establish security standards and governance structure.

The CISO will lead Security Incident Response, Third Party Information Security Assessment, Data Protection and Encryption, Identity & Access Management, and Privileged User Access to protect data.

They will define governance and control strategies for emerging technologies such as cloud and containerization.

The CISO will stay informed of developing security threats and proactively create strategies to understand and mitigate potential security problems.

Requirements
  • Education - Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Related Work Experience - Key Industry certifications like CISSP, CISM, and CISA.
  • Knowledge - Knowledgeable in security processes.
  • Skills - 15+ years of experience in Information/Cybersecurity in a public or large private company with a global customer base.
  • People management experience with hands-on experience building diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of information security standards, rules, and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud Security Mode and key principles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
