This role involves maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies, and supporting the preparation and filing of various financial statements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and reconciliations, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company policies.
    • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and classified, using accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar tools.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
    • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to support business decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
    • Generate various financial reports to provide insights into financial performance, using data visualization tools to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • US Taxation:
    • Assist with the preparation and filing of various US tax forms, including 1099s and sales tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations and company policies.
    • Support the compilation of necessary documentation for income tax preparation, including financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Compliance & Audit Support:
    • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and support, ensuring that financial records and reporting are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and company policies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 1 year of experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar tools
  • Solid understanding of US taxation basics and financial reporting requirements
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
