Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the QA team, setting performance expectations and conducting training on quality control procedures and industry standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance procedures for all incoming materials, production processes, and finished goods.
  • Conduct routine quality inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Perform and supervise technical tests on products, including durability, material quality, and safety, in accordance with product specifications.
  • Oversee and maintain documentation of quality control records, testing results, and any non-compliance or corrective actions taken.
  • Collaborate with the product development, production, and logistics teams to address any quality-related issues or concerns.
  • Ensure adherence to local and international regulatory standards and certifications related to product quality.
  • Lead investigations into product defects or customer complaints, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Continuously assess and improve quality management systems, proposing improvements to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Technology, or a related field. Certifications in Quality Management or Six Sigma are a plus.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in quality control/assurance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, preferably in the retail or manufacturing industry.

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control principles, methods, and tools.
  • Experience with product testing, material analysis, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and lead a team, ensuring high performance and adherence to quality standards.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to product quality.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively report on quality issues and collaborate with other teams.
