We are seeking a seasoned Market Risk Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to apply their skills and expertise in market risk management.

About the Role

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing independent governance and oversight to our business units with regards to market risk management activities. They will assist senior management in ensuring that our risk-taking activities are aligned with our defined risk appetite and strategies as approved by the board of directors.

Responsibilities

">

Our ideal candidate will have strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. They will develop, implement, and drive market risk management framework, policies, and procedures. The candidate will also recommend appropriate market risk appetite statements, indicators, and thresholds to senior management and the board of directors.

Key Qualifications

">

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification is preferred. A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in market risk management within a financial institution is required. The ideal candidate will possess solid understanding and working knowledge of balance sheet analysis, cash flow analysis, and projection.
