Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Facade Designer and Estimator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in preparing shop drawings, reviewing architectural and structural plans, and utilizing specialized façade software.

  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive shop drawings for windows, curtain walls, and panel systems.
  • Perform material and quantity takeoffs by reviewing plans and creating summaries in Excel/PDF.
  • Work closely with engineers to develop and revise designs and calculations.
  • Ensure drawings meet applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and detail facade systems, including curtain walls, windows, and cladding systems.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop and implement design solutions.
  • Manage and coordinate the preparation of shop drawings and takeoff summaries.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed records of project progress and results.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facade design, including curtain walls, windows, and cladding systems.
  • Strong background in preparing shop drawings and detailed takeoff summaries.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Logikal Software, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
