Job Description

The client specializes in managing and optimizing messaging, communications, and collaboration technologies.


Our team helps drive down costs, increase IT efficiencies, minimize risk, and provide clients with a competitive edge by providing expert solutions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved by taking ownership and responsibility for cases that come into the support center in a 24x7 support environment
  • Monitor queues for incoming alerts and incidents
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure speedy resolution of client issues
  • Take ownership of cases escalated to Microsoft, manage communication between customer and vendor, set up troubleshooting calls, take detailed case notes, and accurately log time into the system
  • Participate in various roles during client-facing escalations and post-incident reviews/lessons learned activities
  • Provide reactive and proactive patching services including risk assessment, scheduling, and customer change management procedures
  • Work closely with technical escalation and service delivery teams regarding root cause analysis, escalations, and reports
  • Manage escalations to vendors and work with them
  • Participate in regular audits to ensure adherence to organizational compliance requirements and standards, and governance is in place for continuous improvement
  • Mentor and share knowledge within the team
  • Create configuration documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Several years of experience in IT industry with respect to infrastructure and application support background, including knowledge of:
    • Active Directory
    • Azure Active Directory Premium (MFA, Conditional Access, Licensing)
    • Windows Server Administration (2012 or later)
    • Exchange Server Administration (2016 or later)
    • M365 – Exchange Online, ODFB
    • Teams
    • Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Microsoft Intune/EM&S)
    • Azure IaaS (RI, HUB)
  • Customer Focus
    • Understand different customer environments
    • Communicate with customers at various levels of an organization
    • Able to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
    • Identify problems and evaluate alternative solutions
  • Good knowledge of tools and applications being used internally
