Job Title

A purchasing specialist is needed to handle end-to-end procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality, cost, and lead-time constraints.

About the Job

The successful candidate will perform various purchasing tasks including sourcing goods and services, negotiating contracts, and managing procurement packages. They will also be responsible for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, identifying and mitigating procurement risks, and ensuring suppliers meet company standards.

  • Purchasing Specialist Role:

    • Negotiating and committing to purchases in accordance with set objectives
Key Responsibilities
  1. Purchasing Activities:
    • Sourcing and selecting suppliers that meet company requirements
    • Negotiating contracts and pricing terms
    • Managing procurement packages and timelines
  2. Procurement Risk Management:
    • Identifying potential procurement risks and developing mitigation strategies
    • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure supplier compliance
  3. Supplier Relationship Management:
    • Building and maintaining relationships with key suppliers
    • Ensuring supplier performance meets company expectations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering or Supply Chain Management preferred)
  • At least 3 years' experience in end-to-end procurement processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
