Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients' network infrastructure.

Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with coworkers, vendors, and clients to design and implement diverse technical engineering projects, building and administering networks, firewalls, and wireless networks, and performing Office 365 and SharePoint migrations, as well as managing Intune and other complex administrative tasks.

You will also take full ownership of issues, projects, or architectural designs from start to finish, adjust work hours as needed for project activities scheduled during evenings or weekends, write and maintain internal and client-facing documentation, and participate in on-call rotation for critical clients.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of technical experience as a Systems Engineer or Systems Administrator is required.
  • Prior MSP experience and comfort working with multiple clients are necessary.
  • Experience configuring firewalls, switches, and servers (WatchGuard and Fortinet preferred) is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including customer service experience, are essential.
  • Demonstrated enterprise-level understanding of change control processes, proper documentation standards, and effective communication practices is required.
  • Experience working with Windows Server (up to 2022), Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS is necessary.
  • A strong background in virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware, clustering technologies) and familiarity with VDI/Session-based desktop design (Citrix, Microsoft RDS) are required.
  • Knowledgeable in LAN/WAN infrastructure and system/network security best practices is essential.
  • Experience in scripting (PowerShell, VBScript, or Python) is required.
