As a critical component of our client's financial security measures, we are seeking an experienced Fraud Analyst to join our team.

Job Description

Our ideal candidate will possess a strong background in risk assessment and have the ability to identify potential fraudulent activities. The successful applicant will be responsible for reviewing alerts, applying critical thinking to escalate investigations, and communicating risk levels and recommendations to the client team.

  • Conduct thorough reviews of system-generated monitoring alerts to identify potential fraud risks.
  • Apply critical thinking to escalate complex investigations and communicate findings to the client team.
  • Provide regular updates on investigation metrics and identify emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure seamless communication.

The selected candidate will work closely with our client to develop and implement effective risk management strategies that minimize financial losses and protect our clients' interests.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience supporting payments industry clients in topics such as financial fraud and anti-money laundering investigations.
  • Strong investigation skills, including the ability to conduct thorough reviews and apply critical thinking to resolve issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate risk levels, recommendations, and resolutions to the client team.
  • Proficiency with research tools and techniques for publicly available and proprietary datasets.
  • Ability to adapt to changing processes and information, with a focus on continuous improvement and professional growth.
