Job Overview

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing and analyzing building structures, particularly in the technology/data centre industry. Collaborative teamwork is essential for success in this position, where you will work closely with other disciplines to deliver technically challenging projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develops comprehensive structural designs for new build and refurbishment projects
  2. Collaborates with cross-functional teams for coordinated design efforts
  3. Ensures accuracy and quality of own and others' work products
  4. Effectively manages project timelines and allocates tasks
  5. Serves as a representative of the company internally and externally
  6. Audits and creates documents following established company standards
  7. May oversee the performance and development of junior engineers, providing guidance and feedback
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of technical experience in designing and analyzing building structures
  • Experience working within an engineering team, preferably in the technology/data centre industry
  • Proficient in software tools such as Autodesk Revit, Tekla, and Robot Structural Analysis
  • Good understanding of relevant Eurocodes and regulations
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
