Data Insight Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Reporting Analyst with Power BI experience to join our organization. As a Power BI Specialist, you will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights, helping us make data-driven decisions.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Executive Team and various stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards. They will also be responsible for ensuring data veracity, visual excellence, and user satisfaction.

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work independently in a remote environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Building automated reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools.
• Working closely with various teams to understand their reporting and analytical needs.
• Providing insights and making recommendations based on data.
• Conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design, and monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
• Collecting required data, analyzing outcomes using statistical approaches, and providing ongoing reports.
• Recognizing, evaluating, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Working with business stakeholders to collect and understand data requirements.
• Creating interactive and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards that effectively explain insights.
• Creating data models and establishing relationships between various data sources to enable efficient data analysis.
• Implementing data cleansing, data validation, and data transformation processes to ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Integrating Power BI reports and dashboards with other corporate tools and applications to facilitate seamless data flow and automation.
• Identifying and resolving performance issues within Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Implementing best practices to enhance report loading and rendering times.
• Ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies.
• Providing training and support to end-users and colleagues on Power BI usage and best practices.
• Monitoring data quality and integrity, proactively identifying and addressing data issues.
• Recommending and implementing improvements to existing Power BI solutions based on user feedback and changing business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of proven experience as a Power BI Specialist or similar role in a BPO environment.
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and M language.
• Strong SQL skills for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
• Experience in data modeling and designing scalable data architectures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Fluent in English.
• Good report writing and presenting skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset with a creative approach to tasks and the ability to find patterns and correlations when dealing with big volumes of information.
