Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to support our US-based client. The ideal candidate will have associate level experience and a strong background in the Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a 36-month rolling calendar of contract renewals.
  • Owning and maintaining the project and savings tracker for all work processed by the Vendor Management team.
  • Scheduling and participating in discussions with business stakeholders for upcoming contract renewals, including meetings, documentation, and feedback.
  • Documenting and recommending process improvements for vendor engagements, purchasing, and vendor lifecycle management.
  • Assisting business leaders in modeling costs and options for their business cases.
  • Supporting Senior Vendor Manager in software negotiations and vendor communications.
  • Collaborating with Risk and Compliance to perform financial risk rating and due diligence checks for new and existing suppliers.
  • Partnering with IT to optimize SaaS subscriptions, licenses, and renewals using the SaaS management platform.

  • Associate level experience.

  • Strong background in the Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage industry.
