Job Summary:

  • Manage credit risk within the Credit Support Unit, overseeing accounts from Branch Lending Units and Branches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise loan proposals using various credit tools and information, ensuring thorough assessments for existing and prospective borrowers.
  • Ensure quality and timely completion of account renewals, evaluation of new borrowers, and various credit requests and reports.
  • Assess credit risk ratings and classifications while maintaining compliance with documentation and bank policies.
  • Effectively manage portfolios, identifying potential issues and initiating remedial actions for non-performing loans.
  • Lead team performance against set Key Result Areas (KRAs).
  • Collaborate with Human Resource partners to ensure adequate talent and provide career development programs.
  • Maintain business continuity compliance.
  • Participate in audit exercises with other business units.
  • Partner with relevant departments to ensure proper loan documentation and collateral verification.
  • Perform administrative duties and supervise Credit personnel.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Business-related field, preferably Economics, Accounting, or Finance.
  • At least 5 years of experience in credit management, focusing on commercial and corporate loans.
  • People management experience is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
