We are seeking a skilled IT professional to support our client in the telecommunications industry.

Job Responsibilities
  • Install, configure and maintain computer systems, servers, network devices and software applications tailored for the telecom environment.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues and troubleshoot to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform regular backups, data integrity checks and disaster recovery measures to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions and access controls in line with industry-specific compliance and security standards.
  • Provide prompt technical support and resolution for user inquiries and technical issues related to telecommunications systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enforce IT policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience in CISCO Unified Communications Manager.
  • Experience in desktop and network space.
  • Preferably an all-round IT Administrator.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role within the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications-specific systems and protocols.
  • Experience with telecommunications-specific equipment and technologies, such as PBX systems, VoIP and SIP.
  • Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure tailored for telecommunications, including routers, switches and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications-specific software applications, billing systems and customer management platforms.
  • Solid understanding of system security principles and best practices in the telecommunications industry.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with the team.
