Job Overview

Our company seeks a highly skilled system administrator to support our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing computer systems, servers, networks, and software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, network devices, and software applications specific to telecommunications environments.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot for optimal performance.
  • Perform regular backups, data integrity checks, and disaster recovery measures to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls according to industry-specific compliance and security standards.
  • Provide prompt and effective technical support and resolution for user inquiries and technical issues related to telecommunications systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enforce IT policies and procedures.
  • Conduct system audits to protect against unauthorized access and data breach, taking into account telco-specific vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and troubleshooting steps.
Desirable Skills and Experience

Essential Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role within the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications-specific systems and protocols.
  • Experience with telecommunications-specific equipment and technologies, such as PBX systems, VoIP, and SIP.
  • Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure tailored for telecommunications, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications-specific software applications, billing systems, and customer management platforms.
  • Solid understanding of system security principles and best practices in the telecommunications industry.
