Food Operations Supervisor

The Food Operations Supervisor oversees the day-to-day activities of a food production facility, ensuring efficient operations, effective management, and the consistent availability of raw materials.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize food cost control, inventory management, and manpower efficiency.
  • Ensure the timely availability of raw materials and supplies to meet production demands.
  • Supervise production personnel and monitor their performance to achieve operational excellence.
  • Coordinate with sales teams on production forecasts and delivery schedules to meet daily requirements.
  • Compute raw material needs and manage usage to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Oversee maintenance and pest control programs to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, storage, and stock reporting by storekeepers.
  • Submit regular production reports to provide insights into operational performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Production Management or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in food production, supply chain management, or similar field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in inventory systems, production planning, and cost control.
  • Knowledgeable in food safety standards and regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
