The Registrar III is a key member of the education and skills development team responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient record-keeping for students.
This individual plays a crucial role in maintaining student records, overseeing their creation, updating, maintenance, and disposition.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise data recording in students' records ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Sign requests for new or transferring students' records verifying authenticity.
- Oversee the creation, updating, maintenance, and disposition of academic records including transcripts and diplomas.
- Assist in revising curricula, school calendar, and other requirements aligning with educational standards.
- Attend to correspondence ensuring prompt compliance with record requests from students, faculty, and external agencies.
- Coordinate graduation preparations, issuing certifications, grades, transfer credentials, clearances, and diplomas as required.
- Verify and authenticate documents released by the office ensuring integrity and legitimacy.
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Education, Business Administration, or related field demonstrating relevant knowledge and expertise.
- 2 years of relevant experience in record-keeping, academic administration, or a related field showcasing ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- 8 hours of relevant training in areas such as data management, academic policies, and record-keeping procedures enhancing professional competence.
- Career Service (Professional) or Second Level Eligibility certification meeting government requirements for public service appointments.
- Planning skills enabling effective coordination and organization of academic events and activities.
- Oral and written communication skills facilitating seamless interactions with students, faculty, and external stakeholders.
- Monitoring and evaluation skills allowing assessment of record-keeping processes and recommending improvements.
- Negotiation skills promoting effective conflict resolution and problem-solving in a fast-paced academic environment.
- Research and development skills staying current with best practices in record-keeping and academic administration.
