Senior Financial Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis group, you will play a critical role in driving business decisions through data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather and analyze complex financial data, identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop actionable recommendations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives, optimize business processes, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about finance, has excellent problem-solving skills, and is able to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Operations to complete daily margin reports
  • Provide support on data sources and discrepancies, including insight into assumptions for cost estimations such as wage rates, taxes, benefits, PTO, and other allocated expenses
  • Hold weekly review calls with Operations to discuss trends and performance, and develop action plans to optimize monthly performance
  • Analyze client, site, geography, and department profit and loss statements (P&Ls)
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Demonstrated analytical aptitude to identify opportunities for change, alternative best practice solutions, and anticipate future problems and opportunities
  • Able to identify problems and apply problem resolution skills to determine and implement alternative solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to apply assessment measurement and evaluation techniques to ensure processes, systems, and applications meet business needs
