Data-Driven Decision Maker

Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking an accomplished Business Intelligence Analyst to drive strategic decision-making across our organization.

This senior-level role is critical in driving business outcomes through data-driven insights and by leading cross-functional initiatives, maintaining executive dashboards, and ensuring the accuracy of all business intelligence reporting.

• Executive Reporting: Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages for senior executives.
• Data Insights: Deliver real-time data updates and insights that support timely business decisions.
• Dashboards: Design dashboards using Power BI and Excel that align with company KPIs and strategic goals.
• Reporting Gaps: Identify reporting gaps and propose process improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Liaison: Act as the primary liaison between the Data Team and departments such as Sales Operations, Leads, and Strategic Marketing.
• Meetings: Lead twice-weekly alignment meetings to ensure reporting needs and timelines are met.
• Data Governance: Establish data governance protocols that promote consistency across all agency reports.

Performance and Operational Dashboards:

• KPIs: Build and manage dashboards to monitor KPIs and team metrics.
• Ad-Hoc Reports: Deliver timely and relevant ad-hoc reports based on leadership requests.
• Data Refresh: Automate data refresh processes and ensure seamless data distribution.

Data Integrity and Quality Assurance:

• Audits: Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of all reports.
• Discrepancies: Address discrepancies and reporting errors before they reach executive review.
• Documentation: Implement documentation protocols for version control and data compliance.

Team Management:

• Data Team: Directly manage a data team of 5 to 10 analysts and specialists.
• Collaboration: Collaborate regularly with director-level stakeholders and C-suite executives.
• Stakeholders: Work closely with the Sales Operations, Strategic Marketing, and Leads teams.

Requirements:

Experience:

• Leadership: Minimum of 5 years in a data leadership or reporting management role.
• Presentation: Proven experience managing data teams and presenting to executive leadership.
• Technical Skills: Advanced Power BI skills including DAX, modeling, and dashboard design. Strong SQL capabilities including joins, stored procedures, and query optimization. Proficiency in Excel including Power Query, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Remote Team Management: Experience managing remote teams and using tools such as Slack and Asana.
• Data Compliance: Understanding of data compliance and privacy regulations.
• Advanced Analytics: Experience with advanced analytics using Python, R, or other scripting tools.

• Leadership Experience: Must have experience leading a team of 5 or more data professionals.
• Actionable Recommendations: Must demonstrate the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Power BI Visualization: Must possess strong Power BI visualization and structured report development skills.
