The role of a Senior Pega Engineer at ING Hubs PH involves leading the design and implementation of complex Pega applications. This requires a mastery of Pega development principles, workflows, integrations, and system optimization.

As a member of the Pega Manila Center of Excellence (CoE), you will work with various business domains such as Wholesale Banking, Retail, and others. The CoE provides high-quality, scalable Pega solutions that drive efficiency and innovation across these diverse business areas.

Key responsibilities include advanced application development, strategic implementation, problem-solving, collaboration, mentorship and leadership, and continuous improvement.

  • Advanced Application Development: Lead the design and development of complex Pega applications.
  • Strategic Implementation: Develop and implement strategies for optimizing Pega applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Customer Journey Experts (CJEs), Architects, and other stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into effective Pega solutions.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor and guide junior developers.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of extensive experience in Pega development.
  • Pega Certification: Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) / Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) – preferred but not mandatory.
  • Fluent in English speaking and writing.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experienced in Agile / Scrum / DevOps projects.
