Overview

As a Senior Pega Developer, you will lead the design and implementation of complex Pega applications, optimizing workflows, integrations, and system performance. You will work in the Pega Manila Center of Excellence (CoE), delivering scalable solutions across business domains like Wholesale and Retail Banking. Collaborating with Product Owners, Customer Journey Experts, Architects, and junior developers, you will contribute to strategic decisions, mentor team members, and ensure applications meet business needs. Reporting to your Chapter Lead, you will align with team goals and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design and development of complex Pega applications, ensuring robust workflows and business logic.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into effective Pega solutions.
  • Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of learning.
  • Identify process improvements and implement best practices.
Key Capabilities / Experience
  • Extensive Pega development experience, including rules, classes, flows, and data structures.
  • Deep knowledge of Pega architecture, integration patterns, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Analytical with conceptual/architectural understanding.
  • Experienced in regulated environments, preferably financial institutions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 4+ years in Pega development.
  • Able to synthesize ideas for decision-making.
  • Up-to-date with new technology and its appropriate use.
  • Humble, collaborative, and proud of your work.
