Job Summary

A software project manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects. This includes collaborating with stakeholders, managing team members, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Define project goals, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and team members.
  • Team Management: Oversee the software development team, providing necessary resources, tools, and support to complete tasks on time and to a high standard.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the project and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Communication: Communicate regularly with stakeholders, team members, and external partners to keep them informed about project progress, risks, and issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that software developed meets required quality standards by developing and implementing quality assurance processes and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2-3 years' experience with Jira administration.
  • Familiarity with Coda or equivalent platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Jira workflows, issue types, and Agile boards.
  • Experience with automation rules and AI-based task/reporting tools.
  • Basic scripting/API familiarity.
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software project management.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • Proven experience as a project manager in a software development environment.
  • Experience overseeing software development using technologies like AngularJS, Node.js, AWS, and Flutter.
  • An extensive understanding of Management Information Systems, software development, IT infrastructure, and relational database systems.
  • Experience in managing a team remotely.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Start-up experience.
  • Knowledge of restaurant tech and operations.
