Job Overview:

The Data Platform SRE Analyst plays a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and cost optimization of platforms like Snowflake, Looker, Alteryx, Power BI, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform application administration tasks including installations, connectivity, configuration, upgrades, and patching across cloud and SaaS platforms to ensure seamless data delivery.
  • Monitor platform health, track SLAs, and resolve issues collaboratively with senior team members.
  • Support automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and enable "shift-left" operational models for increased efficiency.
  • Document processes, create knowledge base articles, and develop self-service capabilities for internal users to enhance productivity.
  • Contribute to cost optimization efforts, performance tuning, audit activities, and disaster recovery testing to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and governance teams to ensure compliance and reliability.
  • Stay informed about rapid technical changes and emerging trends in enterprise data platforms to drive innovation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience demonstrating relevant skills.
  • At least 2 years of relevant IT experience with a strong focus on technology and process improvement.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP to facilitate scalability.
  • Basic scripting skills preferably in Python for efficient problem-solving.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems to ensure versatility.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to work across multiple technical domains to drive progress.
