We are looking for world-class solution engineers to join our field teams whose technical skills and customer savvy will help customers understand and utilize the value of the cutting-edge data platform.

The solution engineer will work hand-in-hand with sales, product, engineering, and marketing, providing technical expertise to make customers successful.

A broad range of skills and experience ranging from data architecture to ETL/ELT, data science, security, performance analysis, analytics, etc. are required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Presents technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
  • Works hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of technology throughout the sales cycle.
  • Maintains a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and how to position them in relation.
  • Collaborates with product management, engineering, and marketing to continuously improve products and marketing.
  • Is an advocate and develops mutual trust with the technical audience on the customer side.
Required Skills:
  • 10+ years of experience working in customer-facing sales engineering role.
  • Strong competency on modern data stacks, ETL/ELT, data warehouse/lake, data science, and data apps.
  • Outstanding presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Hands-on expertise with SQL (Python knowledge is a bonus).
Preferred Skills:
  • Data science knowledge and experience.
  • University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Software development experience with Java, Spark, and other scripting languages.
  • Extensive knowledge of large-scale database technology and cloud data platforms.
  • Experience selling data and/or analytics software to enterprise customers.
  • Sound understanding of the technology ecosystem.
