We are seeking a Senior Accountant to fill a key role in our organization. This position involves overseeing all types of accounting work, including BAS, IAS, FBT, FTC, DIV7A, Tax Returns for Individuals, Companies, Trusts and Partnerships, TPAR, Payroll Tax, Payroll, Group Certificates, Superannuation compliance and other tasks as directed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete complex financial assignments with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Mentor and review the work of junior accountants to ensure quality and consistency
  • Manage and maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to workplace health and safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • At least 3+ years of experience in Australian accounting and finance
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Xero software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
