We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to join our team. As a key member of the accounting and finance team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and exceptional communication abilities. Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically Yardi and Yardi Investment Accounting, is required.
Your responsibilities will include payment processing, accounts payable management, journal entries, and financial reporting. You will also be responsible for quarterly financial statement reporting, maintaining accurate and organized financial records, and collaborating with team members to improve accounting workflows.
Key tasks include:
- Payment processing and accounts payable duties: monitoring accounts payable inbox, processing vendor invoices, managing payments, and setting up payment batches.
- Employee expense reports and credit card reconciliations: reviewing and ensuring timely reconciliation.
- Monthly-close-related tasks: preparing and posting journal entries, performing bank reconciliations, and importing property TB activity into Yardi.
To succeed in this role, you must be highly organized, have excellent time management skills, and be able to work effectively in a remote environment.
