Job Overview

Responsible for spearheading manufacturing teams, overseeing project efficiency and performance.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conducts thorough feasibility analyses of business projects, examining financial data and production timelines.
  • Reviews engineering specifications, process flows and other critical information to understand manufacturing methods and activities effectively.
  • Designs and develops optimal equipment layouts, materials and workspace configurations to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Monitors labor productivity and implements strategies for business process improvements and enhancements.
  • Develops comprehensive project plans with milestone charts and optimizes resource allocation for effective utilization.
  • Drives the implementation of best practices across functional teams and monitors cycle time standards.
  • Designs travel charts and material handling systems for efficient usage and optimization.
  • Develops policies and procedures for asset management and employee suggestion schemes.
  • Finalizes vendor norms for subcontract activities and drives SAP analytics for informed decision-making.
  • Manages BOM creation and costing, ensuring accurate product cost estimation.
  • Enhances conversion productivity for favorable manufacturing variances.
  • Drives War on Materials (WOM) projects for inventory control and optimization.
Qualifications
  • Requires 8 years of relevant work experience in industrial engineering, including capacity assessment and knowledge of SAP.

  • Defines operating standards for the team and ensures adherence to essential procedures.
  • Solves complex technical issues based on functional policies and business plans.
  • Manages and supervises a semi-complex product team effectively.
