Accounting Operations Professional

Our organization seeks a detail-oriented Accounting Operations Professional to manage accounts receivable and cash posting across various financial institutions. This critical role involves ensuring accurate payment allocation and receipt verification.

Key responsibilities include daily cash posting from multiple banks and financial institutions, as well as daily posting from lock boxes. The successful candidate will also be responsible for month-to-month or week-to-week cash reconciliation and designing a comprehensive reconciliation process around the lock box process.

  • Process daily cash receipts and reconcile against posted amounts.
  • Investigate discrepancies in cash postings and remittance information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer complaints or payment issues.
  • Perform other tasks to support the Finance Department.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in accounting operations, including collections and contract management. Industry experience in IT services is an asset. Additionally, they should be familiar with accounting systems like Microsoft Dynamics GP, QuickBooks, and ConnectWise.

Requirements include an associate degree or equivalent experience, along with advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. A strong communicator with excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to high-quality customer service are essential for this role.
