Senior Security Analyst Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Security Analyst to lead our security efforts and provide expert advice on enhancing our clients' security posture.

  • This critical role requires a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in security analysis, management, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud security, email security solutions, network security devices, vulnerability management, and enterprise cybersecurity policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitoring and maintaining client security systems, including endpoint protection, email security, log aggregation, SIEM solutions, and network security systems.
  2. Responding to and managing security incidents, performing thorough investigations, and implementing mitigation strategies.
  3. Collaborating with clients to understand their specific security needs and providing recommendations for improving security posture and adherence to compliance standards.
  4. Assisting clients with the implementation and maintenance of security solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  5. Evaluating client environments to assess security maturity and posture, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted strategies for enhancement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Security, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in security analysis and management in an MSP environment.
  • Hands-on experience in cloud security, email security solutions, network security devices, and vulnerability management.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze security breaches and trace sources of attacks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to generate comprehensive reports and documentation.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or other related certifications are preferred.
