Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Service Department Head to lead our Service team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies that drive customer satisfaction, service-sales growth, and profitability.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop Business Strategies: Develop and implement short- and long-term business plans in alignment with the company's goals.
  2. Manage Service Team: Oversee the day-to-day work performed by the Service team, ensuring adherence to set standards.
  3. Budget Management: Manage budget allocation for the Service department on an ongoing basis.
  4. Performance Appraisals: Conduct periodic performance appraisals for staff, providing timely feedback to improve performance.
  5. Staff Development: Identify skills and knowledge gaps among staff and provide training opportunities to enhance their capabilities.
  6. Cost Control: Ensure Service, Refurbishment, and Parts operations are within allocated costs, monitoring expense levels to achieve cost control and maintain profitability targets.
  7. CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: Review, analyze, and implement corrective actions to improve cost variance to refurbishment projects.
  8. Operational Efficiency: Oversee the efficient execution of all Service Refurbishment and Parts operations based on timeline, quality, and profitability.
  9. Quotation and Tender Review: Review quotations and tenders, negotiate terms, and approve commercial terms of offer and order of acceptance.
  10. Market Analysis: Conduct regular meetings with key staff to monitor market movements and analyze potential business opportunities.
  11. Customer Relationship Management: Maintain good relationships with key customers through regular visits to build long-term business relationships.
  12. A/R Monitoring: Conduct periodic monitoring of accounts receivables and coordinate with Finance to ensure timely invoicing and prompt collection of overdue debts.
  13. Stock Management: Review stock levels and set safety stock quantity, coordinating with Materials to utilize aging stock effectively.
  14. Warranty Claims: Ensure that warranty claims from customers are followed up to fulfill contractual warranty obligations.
  15. SAP Utilization: Actively use SAP and C4C tool to manage the Department optimally and find new initiatives for growth.
  16. Process Improvement: Identify areas of improvement in service procedures and processes, develop action plans, and follow up to ensure successful implementation.
  17. EHS Management: Administer and execute all duties as EHS Management Representative to achieve required safety standards.
  18. Quality Assurance: Ensure Service, Parts, and Refurbishment department activities are implemented and recorded in compliance with QMS.
