As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop solutions, and deliver results.

  • You will write clean, efficient, and scalable code in Typescript/Javascript (NodeJS) and ensure it meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • With your expertise in popular DBMS technologies such as MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, you will design and implement robust database systems that meet the needs of our applications.
  • Your experience with version control systems like git will enable you to collaborate effectively with team members and ensure smooth code deployments.
  • In building APIs using REST, GraphQL, gRPC (advantage), you will create flexible and interoperable interfaces that facilitate seamless communication between applications.
  • Your knowledge of deployment and build tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Bazel, Ansible will allow you to automate tasks, optimize resources, and ensure efficient deployment processes.
  • With cloud management experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure, you will leverage the power of cloud computing to scale our applications, improve performance, and reduce costs.
  • Furthermore, your familiarity with CI/CD pipelines such as Circle CI, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions will enable you to streamline our development process, ensure continuous delivery, and improve overall quality.
  • Familiarity with ELK Stack, Prometheus, Terraform, Pulumi, or Data Analytics is a plus, enabling you to further enhance our system's capabilities and performance.
Responsibilities
  • Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on backend development.
  • Write clean, reliable code and tests for APIs.
  • Collaborate with Frontend Engineers to integrate APIs.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications.
  • Work with product, design, and QA teams to gather requirements and ensure quality.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and adapt to changes.
