Senior Bookkeeper Role

We are seeking a seasoned bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting and financial management.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and perform monthly closing procedures.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of inventory, sales, returns, and refunds, integrating with relevant inventory management systems.
  • Handle invoicing and payments for service contracts, ensuring timely billing and collection.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  2. Bank Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and perform monthly closing procedures.
  3. Inventory Tracking: Ensure accurate tracking of inventory, sales, returns, and refunds, integrating with relevant inventory management systems.
  4. Invoicing and Payment Processing: Handle invoicing and payments for service contracts, ensuring timely billing and collection.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of bookkeeping experience in a US accounting firm, with a focus on e-commerce.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero), G Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and payment processes.
