Financial Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate preparation and submission of financial documentation, as well as providing support to the accounting manager as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and submission of financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Assistance with the calculation of net asset value (NAV) for various funds and the preparation of applicable tax forms for segregated portfolios and funds.
  • Daily price uploads for market revaluation and daily, monthly, and quarterly client and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Support with fee billing to clients and assistance with financial audits.
Competencies Required:
  • Knowledge of banking and financial services industries and asset management products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to develop relationships with multiple stakeholders throughout an organization.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as familiarity with trading systems.
  • Knowledge of accounting and financial concepts, with experience in bank accounting and financial statement analysis.
Education and Experience Required:
  • Relevant educational qualifications, particularly a university degree in accountancy.
  • At least 1-3 years of relevant work experience in accounting operations in banking, investments, or trust industry.
