Job Description

As a key member of our team, the General Manager will oversee and optimize cold chain logistics operations. This leader will develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and maintain the highest standards of product integrity.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans for cold chain logistics aligned with business goals.

  • Provide Visionary Leadership: Foster excellence, safety, and innovation while leading cross-functional teams.

Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations in transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. Ensure compliance with industry regulations while optimizing efficiency and reducing costs.

  • Customer Relationship Management: Build strong client and stakeholder relationships. Collaborate with sales and business development teams to drive growth opportunities.

Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with permits, certifications, and quality management standards.

Financial Management: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing teams. Foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace.

  • Technology Integration: Evaluate and implement advanced technologies to improve tracking, monitoring, and reporting.

This role requires a bachelor's or master's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field (master's preferred). At least 10 years of managerial experience, 5+ years in cold chain logistics, ideally in FMCG, pharma, or manufacturing, is also required. A strong track record of leading mid-sized or rapidly scaling companies through growth, organizational restructuring, or turnaround is necessary.
