The Position:

We seek a skilled AI Automation Specialist to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining workflow automations to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pain Point Identification: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of high impact and high effort that can be automated, resulting in significant time savings and revenue growth.
  • Automation Development: Design, build, test, and deploy n8n workflows and custom scripts to automate manual tasks, including influencer sourcing, reporting dashboards, and knowledge management systems.
  • Integration and Monitoring: Connect APIs and webhooks to integrate with various tools, such as Shopify, Amazon SP-API, Google Sheets, Slack, Airtable, Klaviyo, etc., and set up logging, alerting, and SLA checks to monitor automation performance.
  • Documentation and Training: Create concise SOPs and walkthroughs to enable non-technical team members to self-serve and effectively utilize automation.
  • ROI Tracking: Quantify hours saved, cost reductions, and incremental revenue generated by each automation to demonstrate business value.

Requirements:

  • Experience in e-commerce, direct-to-consumer (DTC), or Amazon marketplace tooling.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or Python for custom nodes, API wrappers, and data transformations.
  • Strong grasp of REST APIs, OAuth, and webhook patterns.
  • Excellent English communication skills to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Self-starter mindset, bias for action, and comfortable working asynchronously.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Familiarity with vector databases, LangChain/LlamaIndex, and RAG pipelines.
  • Basic SQL and data visualization skills.
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering and LLM orchestration.

First 90-Day Outcomes:

  • Eliminate 150+ hours of manual work, delivering immediate ROI and boosting team morale.
  • Create at least 3 high-impact automations to demonstrate execution velocity and value creation.
  • Achieve an internal NPS ('automation satisfaction') of ≥ 8/10 — indicating strong quality and satisfaction from internal users.
  • Create playbooks for 100% of automations to ensure scalability and efficient knowledge transfer.
