Job Description

The Crew Travel Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring that Carnival Cruise Lines' authorized travelers have seamless travel experiences. This involves verifying the accuracy of reservations, obtaining required approvals, and utilizing exceptional customer service skills to answer telephone calls and emails.

Key Functions:

  1. Ensuring accurate and timely processing of reservations, including manual verification and approval when necessary.
  2. Providing outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  3. Monitoring and processing reservations, notifying stakeholders of airline schedule changes and discrepancies.
  4. Accurately processing tickets and ticket exchanges, applying administrative fees as required.
  5. Assisting with flight interruptions, providing comprehensive re-accommodations and minimizing traveler inconvenience.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in travel agency or airline reservation center settings, with Sabre expertise desirable.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to handle sensitive issues professionally.
  • Capacity to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and work independently.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and basic proficiency in GDS systems.
