Project Director Opportunity

The role of Project Director involves leading and managing complex, cross-border projects to drive business transformation and operational excellence.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead end-to-end project management for large-scale, multi-country initiatives ensuring timely delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, resource allocation strategies, and budgets to ensure successful project execution.
    • Drive execution excellence by enforcing adherence to project management frameworks, tools, and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for global stakeholders including executives, regional leaders, and external partners.
    • Foster open communication through regular governance meetings and transparent project reporting.
    • Effectively manage change requests, scope adjustments, and ensure alignment with evolving business priorities.
  • Risk Management & Issue Resolution:
    • Proactively identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation and contingency plans to ensure project success.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and industry best practices.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Lead and mentor diverse, multicultural project teams across geographies.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation within project teams.
    • Provide guidance and coaching to junior project managers or coordinators.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to enhance project management processes, tools, and governance models.
    • Contribute to building global PMO best practices and knowledge sharing across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, IT, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive project management experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Proven track record in delivering large-scale, complex, and multi-country projects.
  • Experience in industries such as Finance, BPO, IT, Healthcare, etc. is an advantage.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills across diverse cultural environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills (executive-level reporting).
  • Advanced proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with operational execution.
