Project Planner

We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to join our team.

  • As a Project Planner, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling projects from initiation to closure.
Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project planning and management, with experience working on medium to high complexity projects.

You will be accountable for ensuring that projects are effectively planned, scheduled, and monitored, and that they are delivered on time and within budget.

You will also be responsible for supporting the Project Management function in delivering projects, as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including WBS, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure alignment and communicate project plans and progress.
  • Manage and control project budgets, including cost estimation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and effective implementation of mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project performance metrics, including earned value management (EVM) reports.
  • Support the production of monthly reports through the provision of intelligent information and analysis.
Requirements:
  • Highly developed Primavera P6 skills.
  • 25+ years of experience in Planning & Schedule Management.
  • Must have experience working in large water-related construction projects/programs.
  • Proven facilitation/presenting skills.
  • Good communication skills.
