Job Title: Functional Architect

This role involves providing end-to-end strategic leadership across the sales and delivery lifecycle.

The Functional Architect plays a dual role in both phases - acting as a trusted advisor during the pursuit phase and as the functional lead during deployment.

In the sales process, this expert partners with pursuit teams to provide guidance on Workday solutions, contributing to RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and overall solution strategy.

They ensure that proposed Workday solutions are scalable, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with client goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with pursuit and sales teams to provide expert solution guidance.
  • Develop effort and budgetary estimations aligning to customer asks in line with opportunity winnability.
  • Ensure continuity of design intent and solution integrity during the transition from sales to delivery.
  • Provide quality assurance oversight and thought leadership on in-flight implementations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across various Workday modules.
  • Lead the end-to-end functional solution design across the full project lifecycle.
  • Drive and facilitate key client sessions, including Architect Workshops and Confirmation Sessions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of actual implementation experience.
  • Strong Workday implementation experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in diverse, fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
