Financial Transaction Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Bookkeeper. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and generating financial reports using QuickBooks Online.
This position requires proficiency in bookkeeping best practices, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working with financial software and a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail.
About the Role- Record and post journal entries accurately and timely
- Investigate and resolve issues within QuickBooks Online (QBO), including
- Payment discrepancies related to 'Deposit to Account.'
- Credit card sync errors and related reconciliation
- Incorrectly applied payments
- Integrations with third-party payment software
- Generate and run custom expense reports using the General Ledger
- Reclassify entries and adjust accounts as necessary to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Assistant, or similar role
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is required
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, financial statements, and reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
