Job Overview

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective internal controls.

This position involves managing a team of accountants, preparing financial statements, and supporting strategic financial planning. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Preparing accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coodinating with external auditors during audits and ensuring timely submission of audit requirements.
  • Managing tax compliance activities, including preparation and filing of tax returns, and ensuring adherence to local tax regulations.
  • Monitoring and analyzing accounting data to produce accurate financial reports and forecasts for management decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
  • Proven leadership/managerial experience in accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
