As our health and wellness supplements business expands into new Amazon sales channels, we need a proactive Inventory Management Specialist to drive inventory planning and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Sourcing: Ensure supply chain alignment with demand-driven forecasting models.
  • Inventory Analytics & Forecasting: Utilize strong analytical skills to monitor and manage inventory levels, track sales trends, factor in seasonality, and adjust forecasts based on marketing campaigns.
  • Spreadsheet & Reporting Mastery: Develop accurate spreadsheets to track inventory, identify discrepancies, and generate reports highlighting potential risks and opportunities.
  • Expiration Management: Monitor product expiration dates and coordinate with marketing to prioritize sales of near-expiration items.
  • Sales Channel Impact: Anticipate and manage how new sales channels shift demand. Update forecasts and reordering processes accordingly.
  • Proactive Reordering: Set reorder points and monitor supplier lead times to prevent stockouts and overstock.
  • Inventory Reporting: Deliver timely and clear reports on inventory status, forecasted needs, and potential issues.

Experience in the supplement industry or gated products is beneficial but not required. What matters most is hands-on experience in managing and forecasting inventory, sourcing products, and using tools like Helium10 or similar platforms for data-driven decision-making.
