Private Equity Fund Services Role
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Private Equity Fund Services Assistant Vice President. This exciting opportunity is for someone with extensive experience in accounting for the financial services sector, particularly private equity, asset management or fund administration.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining books and records, calculating fund Net Asset Values, and coordinating financial statements and associated reports. They will also be required to coordinate calculations of carried interest/performance/incentive fees, capital calls, distributions, and equalizations. Additionally, they will supervise junior staff, review and sign off on work performed, and act as a primary day-to-day contact with clients and other fund participants.
This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in English (both verbal and written), and the ability to manage individual responsibilities effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, sound judgment, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Experience with enterprise accounting systems and user knowledge of Investran would be highly desirable.

Key Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 6+ years' experience in accounting for the financial services sector, particularly private equity, asset management, or fund administration
- Knowledge of IFRS and/or USGAAP
- Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledger and financial statements
- Established knowledge in relation to accounting and consolidations under IFRS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivated, bright, and diligent individual who is driven to meet deadlines
- A team player able to manage individual responsibilities
- Supervisory skills with experience in managing and/or leading staff for 3+ years
- Strong business acumen
- Good client/business relationship management
- Sound judgment, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- User experience with enterprise accounting system(s)
