Personal Injury Legal Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Injury legal assistant to join our team.

This is an independent contractor position, and the selected candidate will be responsible for their own taxes and insurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate new cases and provide initial assessments to the legal team.
  • Develop case strategies and oversee their implementation.
  • Manage case files and maintain accurate records of all case activity.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on case status and answer their questions.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and the legal team, ensuring clients are informed and satisfied with case progress.
  • Coordinate with outside experts and vendors as needed to ensure clients receive the best possible representation.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to the legal team as they work on individual cases.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Legal Assistant in a Personal Injury law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of legal procedures, terminology, and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other case management software.
