IT Support Specialist role
Job Description:We are seeking a proactive IT Support Specialist to provide timely and effective technical support to restaurant operations. This role is critical for ensuring smooth IT system functioning across multiple venues, especially during trading hours.
The successful candidate will work remotely to support various IT systems and platforms, with occasional on-site visits as needed.

Key Responsibilities:- Provide real-time IT support to restaurant teams during business hours, including evenings and weekends
- Use remote tools (e.g., TeamViewer) to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Maintain and update POS menus, item settings, modifiers, reservation systems, and online platforms
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to POS errors, printer malfunctions, delivery platform connectivity, and online reservation systems
- Communicate effectively with external vendors and platform support teams
- Document support cases and maintain an internal knowledge base of common issues and solutions
- Basic networking knowledge (router/modem setup, IP configuration, DHCP/static IPs)
- Experience with hospitality technology platforms, including POS and online booking systems
- Proficiency with remote support tools such as TeamViewer
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support non-technical users patiently and clearly
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks independently
