Accounting Specialist Position

As an accounting specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and providing support for financial reporting.

This role involves creating or maintaining records of financial transactions for clients using various accounting systems. You will also process invoicing and accounts receivable, pay bills, handle expense management software, and manage payroll through a payroll service.

Additionally, you will handle other accounting entries and transactions, provide support for audits by external entities, and compile reports to show statistics such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to the operation of the business.

Reporting against metrics and budgets is also a key aspect of this role. You will perform payroll and payroll tax-related returns and analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.

To succeed in this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience as a full-charge bookkeeper or staff accountant. Intermediate Excel skills are also required.

Other essential qualifications include excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to function independently in an autonomous environment.
