Senior Financial Operations Manager

The ideal candidate for this senior-level position will oversee critical financial operations across two interconnected businesses. This strategic role involves managing accounts payable, handling intercompany transactions, and maintaining accurate records in QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities:- Audit and record vendor invoices in QuickBooks to ensure accuracy and compliance/li>
- Coordinate intercompany transactions between mechanical and transport divisions to facilitate seamless communication/li>
- Implement tracking systems for vendor payments to enhance transparency and accountability/li>
- Collaborate with service writers to ensure proper documentation and minimize errors/li>
- Reconcile financial records to avoid payment delays and maintain a healthy cash flow/li>
- Develop and document improved financial workflows to standardize processes and increase productivity/li>
- Generate regular accounts payable and vendor reports to provide valuable insights and support informed decision-making/li>
- Maintain accurate digital financial records to ensure data integrity and security/li>
- Identify and resolve payment discrepancies proactively to prevent unnecessary delays and expenses/li>
- Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience with North American clients demonstrating expertise and reliability/li>
- Advanced QuickBooks proficiency to leverage the software's full potential and streamline financial operations/li>
- Experience managing multi-company accounting operations to navigate complex financial landscapes and drive growth/li>
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable practices to optimize processes and minimize risks/li>
- High attention to detail and accuracy to ensure precise financial records and timely reconciliations/li>
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders/li>
- Proven ability to improve processes and document systems to drive continuous improvement and growth/li>
