Key Role Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing team performance, staff development, and overall governance of the function. They will ensure a daily review of all control execution aspects, track project completion, and drive teams towards aligned goals.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in payments operations, treasury, finance, or accounting, with a strong background in people management. They should possess excellent prioritization, planning, organizational, and time management skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills and confident verbal and written communication at all levels.

Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Manage team performance, staff development, and overall governance of the function.
  • Governance and Control: Ensure daily review of all control execution aspects, track project completion, and drive teams towards aligned goals.
  • Client Deliverables: Manage client deliverables with high timeliness and accuracy.
  • Process Improvement: Develop an environment of continuous focus on quantifiable productivity and quality, regularly reviewing processes and performance to improve departmental competency and performance rating.
  • Procedure Documentation: Regularly review procedures to ensure new processes are documented.
  • Business Knowledge: Identify business knowledge gaps and ensure everyone has ownership of deliverables.
  • Communication: Interact with global location managers in an effective and professional manner.
  • Management Information Systems: Monitor all relevant management information system data, ensuring all issues are resolved expediently.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Leadership Experience: 10+ years of experience in payments operations, treasury, finance, or accounting, with a strong background in people management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent prioritization, planning, organizational, and time management skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills and confident verbal and written communication at all levels.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset with ability to perform meaningful analysis, understand and explain underlying drivers (i.e., tell the story behind the numbers).
  • Change Management: Challenge the status quo and be disciplined in implementing project plans, with a desire to receive feedback and continuously improve.
