Job Description

The Civil Quality Assurance Specialist will assist the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Head in implementing the Project Quality Plan and Inspection and Test Plan for all civil works at the project site.

Detailed Job Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the QA/QC Head in preparing civil ITPs, method statements, weekly reports on civil activities, and other civil QA/QC documents.
  2. Support the QA/QC Head in documenting, verifying, and reporting civil activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  3. Review technical specifications and approved standard drawings to ensure their strict implementation at the site regarding civil works.
  4. Conduct regular inspections of construction activities to identify deviations/non-conformances at an early stage of the activity.
  5. Communicate quality-related improvement matters to the assigned area supervisor.
  6. Inspect work done outside the project site, such as fabrication shops and plants, to ensure quality control implementation.
  7. Conduct quality receiving inspection of materials used for civil-related activities.
  8. Coordinate with client engineers/inspectors during joint inspections of all civil works.
  9. Assist the QA/QC Head in preparing civil hand-over documents.
  10. Report any non-conformance to the QA/QC Head.
  11. Evaluate subcontractors' adherence to the Project Quality Plan by inspecting their works and reporting non-compliance for corrective action.
  12. Monitor rectification and closure of punch list items before handing over the project to the Client.
